The first children’s museum and science center, Muzeiko, opened this week in Bulgaria in the capital of Sofia. The massive 35,000 square foot space, designed by New York-based Lee H. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership, encompasses three stories of exhibition space. Designed to mimic Bulgaria’s mountainous regions, the museum represents The Past, The Present and The Future, inviting young minds to explore everything from archaeology to space travel.
