Anne Audain is a true running legend.
She’s a former world record holder and a member of the U.S. Track and Field Hall of Fame. A native of New Zealand, she’s a four-time Olympian who dominated in every distance, from 800 meters to the marathon.
She was an orphan born with severe born deformities in both feet and couldn’t walk correctly until she underwent reconstructive surgery at the age of 13. From then on, she was running.
